These Documents Are Required
Personal Documents
- Completed and signed Wohngeld application form
- Identity card or passport (copy)
- Registration certificate (not older than 3 months)
- Residence permit (if applicable)
Proof of Income
- Pay slips from the last 12 months
- Pension statement (if receiving a pension)
- Proof of unemployment benefits, sick pay or other social benefits
- Income tax assessment (for self-employed persons)
- Maintenance payments (proof of payments received or made)
Rental Documents
- Tenancy agreement
- Current rent amount (e.g., bank statement or landlord's rent certificate)
- Proof of advance payment for utilities
Household Documentation
- Birth certificates of children living in the household
- Proof of income for all persons belonging to the household
- Severely disabled person's pass (if applicable)
